*SUMMER TRAINING*
Weather permitting, we start outdoors on Sunday 15 April at Walton Dam, 10am until 12 am, after that every sunday. All age groups (boys and girls) are welcome to this.
Every Wednesday evening from April 11 (6:00 start) there will be Senior outdoor practice and a girls' only session.
Please encourage any friends to come along. In particular we would really like to further build on the number of girls playing and are hoping that a girls' only session will help with this.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP FEES AND FORMS
It was agreed to introduce an annual membership fee for the 2012 season for those over 16 playing senior cricket. The fee will be £10, £5 for juniors and the unwaged. In addition there will be the opportunity for non-players to be associate members for the fee of £5.We will also be asking each member to complete a membership form.All other match fees and charges to remain unchanged.

We now have a sponsorship agreement with Kickstart Physi-Pro-therapy. This is a physiotherapy clinic based just off Storforth Lane. Under the agreement Kickstart will give anyone mentioning the club a discount (£5/£10 per session) off their normal prices. In addition they will donate a further £5 to the club. If you need to use a physiotherapist, or know anyone that does please consider taking advantage of this offer.Please let Jon Denby know if you use the offer.

CLUB LEGEND Steve Wright passed away 11 Jan after a long illness.
Steve’s family particularly asked me to pass on their thanks for all the support during his illness.
Sadly, Brian Denman also passed away recently. Brian was a regular player for the Barbarians for a great many years

Barbarians have two Saturday sides in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire Cricket League,one in the Derbyshire County League and one Sunday side in the Mansfield League. We also have 6 junior "hardball" teams and 4 Kwik cricket teams in the North Derbyshire Youth Cricket League.
